Back when I was a runner for this specific location, at first I was making good money but then a year later, production pay was introduced and again, at first I was making okay money but then towards the winter season, there wasn’t enough work therefore no money. Management wasn’t the best. Some of the unloaders were slackers and some runners were thieves. You were basically fighting for the money. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. It’s very overwhelming.

Terrible place to work

For starters management is horrible there is no communication what so ever they like to hire alot of friends and family ( the shift leads or managers) and if you don't fit in they cut your hours or try and make you work thirds it's basically high-school 2.0 everyone talks bad about everyone all in all very stressful and terrible place to work no opportunity to advance as well I should mention

Great place for physical development.Always something to do/learn.Fair compensation for hard work. Decent management.Ability for career advancement.Never a dull moment.

My experience has been at the corporate headquarters where the organization is investing in data and resources to create tools that help site managers understand and support the priorities and needs of their teams of warehouse associates. Capstone realizes that people are their most valuable asset and, in a volatile labor market they are committed to finding ways to improve the value they offer to employees.

Safe and fun work place. I learned alot of new things working at home depot for Capstone..I love the hours. The pay was great.. The only thing i disliked the job ended..

If you've got nice breaststroke you get a $1/hr raise just for saying please

Lack of strong leadership and accountability leaves lazy employees free to recieve a paycheck for nothing while employees with work ethic are over worked and under appreciated until they either quite or loose the drive they once have and fall into the lazy crowd.

You get paid for what you do.

Production pay means you get paid for the work that you do so if you aren't getting paid enough then you aren't working hard enough. This company is definitely a good starting company in warehousing.

Where do i start.

This is a VERY physical job. If heat isn't your friend, don't bother applying. If you are looking for a job that will help you advance in the company, don't bother applying. The staff has always been friendly, but the work load is not consistent at all. Being paid on production can work against you any day of the week. If it was an hourly job, yes this would be great. The turnover rate is high mainly because of the workload fluctuating day to day, so people find something better. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.

60 hours a week, no balance in work

Management doesn't care about your problems. You're only a case in their eyes. There's no opportunities to grow since there is a niche group in management.

You won't make close to what they advertise

They don't pay hourly it is production and you will not make close to 600 a week. Management is not worker friendly it is his way or the highway. I stuck it out for 6 months because I was told there was an opertunity for advancement. There wasn't.

Production based

Not too everlasting pleased. I like was barely trained Was thrown to the wolves. I had issues getting my direct deposit set up and pay was different every week. This seemed to be due to your production performance. Had to Stay later then normal without help from time to time. management/supervisors need serious improvement or more organization.Employees are not taking pride in their work.

The best management I've ever worked for hands down

I've been with capstone a year now. Love my job pays top of the line for the area hours are great. Ability to advance in the company. Management treats you like family. Only down side is the partner but other then that great place to work....

Not

The place isn't at all a good place to work at. Usually have very little to no room to actually work. Not a very safe place whatsoever. Not worth the money to do what's required.

I miss capstone,learned alot from them,and i count capstone as a blessing even though i didntnlast long ,capstone paves the way for a craftsman to build by giving all necessary tools,but capstone cant build for you though,….

A lot of workload with not enough pay

The workload often requires overtime, especially for truck loaders and dock coordinators. As a Order Selector I would perform lifting duties for more than 12 hours sometimes. This job is very taxing on a person's spine and back. With the right number of employees and a high enough wage however, I believe any job available is worth having here. It's a very independent place to work with people who depend on each others effort to do so successfully.

Good place to work

Good place to work there are no negatives or complaints just need to stay busy, do your work and life is easy. Don’t be lazy and don’t be a slacker or work elsewhere

Unorganized & Unprofessional !

Never done a review for a job but if i could give it half a star I would. First off this place is really unorganized they don't keep track of anything especially your pay they literally try to make you work for free if you aren't aware of the amount of work you did especially because it's "production pay" meaning you get payed for what you do. When you first start they will give you the biggest trucks and messed up loads on purpose so its nearly impossible to make the money they claim you "can make". THERE IS FAVORITISM AND SENORITY IN THIS WORK PLACE. Don't expect to make money in this place unless you work there for more than a year. Second of all, when you try to bring up a claim about your pay the supervisors and managers are really unprofessional and won't do anything unless you bring it up to their bosses attention. Then they will delay the process of your pay and make you wait. Then to sum it all up they will make it a headache trying to get your pay, you will have to constantly keep reminding them and will come back at you with an attitude when it's their fault you didn't get payed in the first place. HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK! KEEP LOOKING.

Productive and fun workplace

Fun, non-stressful job. Get to play around on pallet jacks and forklifts all day. Understanding management team willing to work with you and help with find an schedule that works for you. 4 day, 10 hour shifts. 3 days off a week. Overtime available most of the time.

Get your money and leave

Ive been with capstone for 2 years. I was silly enough to let my apartment go and become permanent road crew. You can make good money at some sites. If you have a family member in power there, it’s a great chance to move up and pretty much be protected. Some sites have good hotels, some don’t. If you do become a lead, it’s best you stay at whatever site you became one at because sometimes if you go to work sites, you have to start picking again. There are no benefits. No paid time off. I had 44 a one point and it disappeared, with no explanation. Best advice I have is to keep your head down as much as possible, earn your pay and leave.

Poor management

Lack of diversity within main hub. Own car, own gas, no reimbursement. Poor communication from management. Favoritism for those who’ve been there longer regardless of performance.
