Purpose of the Position: The Finance and Accounting Deputy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations within the plant. This position ensures that the company’s financial health and integrity are maintained through accurate record-keeping, comprehensive reporting, and regulatory compliance. The Deputy Manager will collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights that drive informed decision-making and support the overall business strategy.

Job Description:

· Financial Reporting & Analysis:

o Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

o Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.

o Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

· Accounting Operations:

o Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

o Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.

o Maintain internal controls and safeguard assets through compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Budgeting & Forecasting:

o Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.

o Analyze and report on financial performance against budget and forecasts.

o Provide support for long-term financial planning and strategy development.

· Compliance & Auditing:

o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.

o Coordinate external audits and prepare necessary documentation.

o Implement and oversee internal audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Team Leadership:

o Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.

o Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.

o Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Qualifications:

· Education & Experience:

o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

o Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.

· Skills & Competencies:

o Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

o Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Language Requirement: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a must. Good English communication skills are essential.
